Solitude
Solitude is the sacred practice of meeting God just as we are, in the here and now, and allowing Him to speak to us exactly where we stand. It is a holy space where we come as we are—unveiled and unfiltered—to be with the One who knows us completely.
Psalm 73:25–28 beautifully captures this truth:
*"Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Those who are far from You will perish;
You destroy all who are unfaithful to You.
But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all Your deeds."*
In His presence, we find refreshment, rest, and the assurance that God is always with us—faithful, steady, and enough. Solitude invites us to dwell in this truth and be renewed by the One who never leaves.
